The OBA is proud to present our first ever Beginner Band Blitz! This is an event for fully-vaccinated (two doses) students in grade 6 - 9. Students will have the opportunity to try out a band instrument during the Beginner Band Blitz weekend at Ashbury College.  Highlights include:

• First lessons on their instruments with local music specialists

• Access to high-quality band instruments provided by Long and McQuade Musical Instruments

• A mini-concert featuring the Comorant Trio of the Central Band of the Canadian Armed Forces

• A first Concert at the beautiful Ashbury College Campus under the direction of John Kraus

This event takes place on June 4 and 5 and we are very excited to kick-start band students in the Capital Region!
